Zhibo (Paul) Liu is vice president and executive assistant to the chairman and CEO of Suntech Power Holdings. He earned a bachelor’s degree in physics from Nanjing University in 1982. Between 1982 and 1995, he worked in research and development and project management, and from 1995 to 2007, he was a member of the Wuxi New District Management Committee.

As a member of the committee, Liu was involved in the establishment of the Wuxi New District Science and Technology Bureau, Wuxi Software Park, Computer Animation Park, and Taihu Science and Technology Park. In that role, he was also charged with high-tech enterprise incubation and served as the government representative that approved and supported chairman and CEO of Suntech Power Holdings Zhengrong Shi’s project.

For his achievements, Liu was named by the National Ministry of Science and Technology as the Torch Project 20th Anniversary Honored Individual and was given an Individual Achievement Award for High-Tech Commercialization by the Jiangsu Provincial Government. Since 2007, he has served as the vice president and executive assistant to Zhengrong Shi, where he oversees development strategy research, business development planning, and knowledge management.
