Secretary General of the CPC Committee of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, is currently supervisor of doctoral degree candidates , representative of the 11th Party Representative Congress of Jiangsu Province, Member of the Political Consultant Conference of Jiangsu Province, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Committee of the Political Consultant Conference of Jiangsu Province, Vice Chairman of Philosophy and Social Science Association of Jiangsu Province, Vice President of Research Association of University’s Ideological and Political Education of Jiangsu Province, Vice Secretary General of Higher Education Scientific Management Research Association of East China, Director of National University Ideological and Political Education Academy, also former member of CPC Committee of Suzhou City, Director of Commission for Discipline Inspection of Jiangsu Province, deputy to the people's congress of Jiangsu Province.

After graduation from mathematics department of Nanjing University in 1978, he joined the staff there until 2001. And he served as Vice Secretary General of the CPC Committee of Nanjing University in 1998. From 2001 to 2006, he served as Secretary General of the CPC Committee of Suzhou University. In June 2006, he began to serve as Secretary General of the CPC Committee of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
