Dr. Scott X. Liu Executive Director, Center of International Business Studies (CIBS) and Associate Dean for Global Programs in School of Management, New York Institute of Technology Dr. Scott X. Liu is executive director for Center of International Business Studies (CIBS) and Associate Dean for Global Programs in School of Management at New York Institute of Technology (NYIT). Dr. Liu has been actively promoting global education since his start of an academic career twenty years ago, and he developed one of the first U.S.-Sino joint M.B.A. programs in 1996. He has been a consultant for the World Bank, and involved with its small business projects in China. Dr. Liu was the recipient of the Richard N. Farmer Dissertation Competition Award from the Academy of International Business, and his research is in the areas of foreign direct investment, globalization, and business strategy. He serves in the editorial board in several journals and business magazines. He wrote several books, including “Strategy of Life,” which was the bestseller and has had an impact on the young generation in China. Dr. Liu has served as a executive advisor or consultant to several major Chinese and American companies including such as World Bank, UNDP, William Nicholas Bodouva + Associates, GKV, China Grand Enterprise, Huajing Building Group, and A.Best Group. |
