Student Solutions Center (SSC)

The Student Solutions Center (SSC) is a one-stop resource where you can get answers to your questions, take care of your registration and financial needs, and learn more about all that NYIT has to offer.  Our SSC managers are trained to look at students holistically, anticipating issues before they arise and making sure students always have the right information to keep their college career on track.

If you are confused about any process at NYIT, your first step should be to contact the SSC.

Priority Academic Advisement for Spring 2015 Registration

Priority academic advising begins November 3, 2014 and runs through November 14, 2014.. If you do not know who your academic advisor is please go to http://www.nyit.edu/advisors for a comprehensive list or contact the SSC at 516.686.7878 or email us at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). You must meet with an advisor before you can register online to select your courses and have your online registration unlocked. Priority online registration begins November 10, 2014 and runs through November 21, 2014.  You can view your web appointment through your NYIT Connect account or you can contact your Student Solutions Manager.  Remember, the SSC is here to help!

Welcome New and Contnuing Students!

We hope you are having a restful and productive summer.  The Fall 2014 semester begins Wednesday, September 3rd.  Registration is ongoing.  If you have not been advised please visit http://www.nyit.edu/advising/advisor_schedules for advisor schedules and availability.

The Student Solution Center is here to assist you with all of your registration and financial aid needs.  Beginning the week of August 25th the SSC will have extended office hours.  The office will be open until 7:00pm Mondays through Thursdays and until 5:00pm on Fridays through September 16, 2014.

NYIT has implemented a new student information system called PeopleSoft.  You can access your PeopleSoft Student Service Center through your NYIT Connect account. If you have any questions, please contact us at 516.686.7878 or .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
