How to Request A/V Equipment at NYIT

Please read the instructions before you fill out the form.

A/V Request Form

  • All requests must be filled out using the above form. 
  • Requests must to be submitted within one week of the event.  Shorter notices and last minute changes cannot guarantee the equipment will be setup for your event.
  • Only NYIT faculty and staff can submit an equipment request.  For student sponsored events, the club’s faculty advisor must request the equipment.
  • The requesting party must be on hand during the designated start time or notify ACS who will be accepting the delivery.  The equipment will not be left in an unattended/unsecure area and will be returned.
  •  Please notify Academic Computing Services immediately about any damaged equipment in order to avoid being held liable
  •  If an event ends earlier than expected please notify Academic Computing Services, so we can pick up the equipment. Remember, the requesting party is responsible for the equipment until the submitted end time.
  • All equipment for evening classes/events will be picked-up no later than 10:50 PM. This includes classes/events that are schedule to end after 10:50 PM. Please plan your A/V usage accordingly.
  • No equipment is to be removed from campus and requests will not be approved for off campus events.
  • Sunday events must be staffed by the requesting department.
