Mathematics Education
Mathematics teachers work primarily
with middle and high school students
to teach the fundamentals of
mathematics, including algebra,
calculus, geometry and trigonometry.
Math teachers must be well versed in
all areas of mathematics and have additional expertise in curriculum development, adolescent psychology, technology and multiculturalism. Mathematics is also an excellent auxiliary body of knowledge for teaching science or computer technology.
