Do I need to provide my father's financial information? What about my stepfather's? 4 I'm 22 years old and have worked full time for four years, but I still live with my parents. Do I still need to provide their financial information? 5 My parents have a very high income. Should I even bother filling out the FAFSA? 6 How does NYIT get my financial information? 7 Is that how NYIT will determine my financial aid? 8 I have not yet received my acceptance to NYIT. Can I still include you on the FAFSA? The forms for the upcoming school year are generally available sometime in December. However, you may not send the forms in until after January 1st. A good rule of thumb is to fill out and send in this form sometime between New Year's Day and Valentine's Day (February 14th). Don't wait too long beyond that time period, though, because many scholarship and financial aid offerings have early application deadlines.
