Computers are an integral part of every course at NYIT. It is essential to your academic success that you have a strong working knowledge of computers and the software they run, particularly the individual programs in the Microsoft Office suite.

The Academic Computing Centers provide you with computers which you can use for either NYIT assignments or your own personal projects. Trained staff members from NYIT's Office of Information Technology are available in each center to assist you with any hardware or software questions you may have. These centers are available on each campus and are free to all NYIT students.
