I am borderline obsessed with Harry Potter and Grey’s Anatomy. I love taking “power naps,” although they usually turn into hours of deep sleep. I also love to eat; I’m a real “foodie.”
Why NYIT? I aspire to be a physician. When I was accepted into NYIT’S prestigious B.S./D.O. program, I knew that this is where I wanted to attend college.
Always there for me
During my first semester in the residence halls, I developed bad allergies one night. I thought I was okay, but my friends and acquaintances were very worried about me and took great care of me. It was amazing to see people I had just met come together like a family to help me when I needed it. The people I met here are such good-hearted people.
Organizations I was really involved with community service in high school, volunteering at various hospitals, clinics, pre-schools, and summer camps. I still volunteer and devote my time to community service whenever I can. I am planning to get more involved at NYIT, as my life feels incomplete without doing so.
Dream Job I aspire to become a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine specializing in pediatric emergency medicine.
Exciting Event I enjoyed celebrating Garba, a traditional South Asian festival, during the fall semester. My friends and I all had a wonderful time dancing and sharing a sample of what South Asian culture is all about to the NYIT community.
