On behalf of the entire faculty, I take this opportunity to express our commitment to providing our students with a successful educational experience in physician assistant studies.
The program is challenging and tests our students' personal and academic abilities. However, the rewards of completing the program are well worth the effort. Our graduates are well prepared for the national certifying examination and to practice as knowledgeable, skillful, and caring health care providers.
The focus of physician assistant education at NYIT is primary care; however, the curriculum and clinical clerkships cover the entire spectrum of medicine. In the process, students learn much about themselves, their strengths, and their ability to overcome limitations.
Our students' success is the faculty's highest priority and we look forward to the day when program graduates become our colleagues. Once again, we welcome you.
