Undergraduate Degree

Question:

What do you recommend as an undergraduate degree in order to get into the Physical Therapy program at NYIT?

Answer:
If you have the appropriate prerequisites, you are allowed to apply, regardless of undergraduate degree. Many students come to our program with a B.S. in life sciences, biology, exercise science, kinesiology, or athletic training. These degrees are helpful but not necessary. Be certain you are doing well overall in your studies and in the appropriate prerequisites, and that will improve your chances for admittance into the Physical Therapy program.
