Congratulations to the 24 NYIT faculty members who were awarded grants under the Institute’s Institutional Support of Research and Creativity Grants Program and its Teaching and Learning with Technology Grants Program in 2012. These grant programs support research, creative activity, and pedagogy and are sponsored by NYIT under a collective bargaining agreement between the Institute and its unionized faculty. Proposals received through an annual competition are peer-reviewed by a committee of faculty members, and funding decisions are made by the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs of NYIT. The programs are administered by NYIT’s Office of Sponsored Programs and Research. For a list of awardees, please click here.
