Biostatistician

Responsibilities

As part of a significant expansion of our basic science and clinical research efforts, the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYCOM) is recruiting a Biostatistician. The successful candidate will provide guidance to and assist research faculty and personnel with statistical analysis methodologies for study design, grant preparation, and data analysis. They will also serve as a resource for medical school faculty teaching statistical analysis approaches and theory to medical students.

Qualifications

The candidate must be familiar with and be able to apply statistical approaches for both basic science and clinical studies, including the design and analysis of clinical trials. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to play a major role in building a research program. M.Sc. in biostatistics, statistics or epidemiology is required, Ph.D. preferred. This position offers a competitive salary with an attractive benefits package.
