On Oct. 8, 2008, NYIT's Nanjing campus celebrated the opening of the 2008-2009 academic year. Joining in the festivities were government officials, administration and faculty from NYIT and NUPT, and the 329 students in the Class of 2012 attending NYIT in Nanjing.
About NYIT's Nanjing campus
2007, NYIT opened its American-style Nanjing campus in collaboration with Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications (NUPT). Four academic undergraduate degree programs are held in a new state-of-the-art facility near the Purple Mountains area of Nanjing: business administration, communication arts, electrical and computer engineering, and computer science. All programs are taught in English by NYIT professors from New York, and the curriculum mirrors that of NYIT's programs in the United States.
