recycling effort at NYIT-Bahrain
NYIT students and staff at a recycling event in the summer of 2009. NYIT was the first university in Bahrain to join the current national recycling initiative.

Located in Adliya, NYIT’s Bahrain campus opened in 2003. Undergraduate and post-graduate degrees are offered in variety of fields, including business, computer graphics, engineering, and architecture. Accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Bahrain, as well as the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, NYIT awards the same degree to students at the Bahrain campus as does at its campuses in New York.

With constant collaboration across continents, NYIT’s Bahrain courses are taught by New York faculty or local adjunct professors who meet the same stringent standards as those in the United States. Because all classes are conducted in English, students must be able to speak and write in English.
