The Gift From NYCOM
NYCOM is justly proud of its gift to the world - you, our alumnus and your colleagues, our alumni. Thousands of you out there, placing the patient before you, healing, serving and making the world better, one patient at a time.
Far too caught up in what we needed to do here on campus, we at NYCOM have been somewhat remiss in the past, not doing enough to go out there, meet with you regularly and keep our interaction dynamic and vibrant; no more.
NYCOM is in the midst of an enormously exciting transition. New technologies in the classroom like you never experienced, new standardized patient and robotic facilities, a major curriculum redesign effort - all make for a dynamic period here at NYCOM.
We want you to be an integral part of it. We are asking you to join us in transforming our proud past into an even more vibrant future.
NYCOM will be always known, as it is now, by what you, the alumni do. To make sure that our connection is strong, we havestrengthened the office for Alumni Affairs. You will be hearing from Felicia Bruno, Assistant Dean for Alumni Affairs and me often.
I hope that all of you will be a part of this exciting journey. I welcome you to call on me freely to share your thoughts, advice and our excitement.

Dean, NYCOM
