Peer Advising at the Advising and Enrichment Center (AEC)
- Meet with a Peer Advisor to prepare for advisement. Peer Advisors hold regular office hours in Manhattan and Old Westbury and are available to help you review your curriculum requirements and prepare important questions for your academic advisor. Peer Advisors can also assist you with the registration process and show you how to select courses and register online.

NYIT offers Online Tutoring…and it’s FREE! This service, provided by Brainfuse, supplements our current Learning Center hours by offering real-time online tutoring sessions for core courses and skills; some up to 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Online tutoring is available for a variety of subjects including math, writing, life sciences, business and Spanish.
