Jennifer Gracia (B.S. '09) completed a nine-month internship at VNSNY for new/recent nursing school graduates. She and 17 other RN interns were recognized at the Annual VNSNY Internship Completion Ceremony on October 5, 2011. Jennifer was hired into the VNSNY Manhattan Adult Mental Health program as a public health nurse intern with the April 2011. She is also currently empolyed as a psychiatric nurse in that same program.

Thierry Marcellin (B.S. '09) plans to graduate this spring semester, earning his bachelor's degree in nursing. He is looking forward to NYIT Commencement as well as the Nursing Department's pinning ceremony, a tradition in the profession that dates to the 19th century.
