10:30 am to 12:00 pm-- Financial Aid Presentation – Clair Jacobi, Director, Financial Aid

12:00 pm-- Give out mailbox keys and gifts

12:15 pm-- Lunch provided by the College of Osteopathic Medicine

1:45pm – 2:30 pm -- Essential technologies at the College of Osteopathic Medicine - Dr. C. Kumar, Professor and CIO, Riland Auditorium

2:30PM to 5:00PM Directory Photo shoot:  Media Services Group, Riland Auditorium

Health Insurance Information: 10:30 am -- 5pm HSAC (health insurance) will be available – Conference Room A, 2nd floor, Serota Building

9:30 am – 10:00 am-- Barbara Ross-Lee, D.O. Vice President of Health Sciences and Medical Affairs, NYIT

10:00 am – 11:00 am-- William G. Anderson, D.O., FACOS Vice President, Academic Affairs and Osteopathic Medical Education, Sinai-Grace Hospital, Professor and Senior Advisor to the Dean Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine

11:00 am – 11:35 am-- Ice Breaker

11:45am– 1:15 pm-- Lunch-Cook Out

1:15 pm – 1:30 pm -–Dean and Faculty skit

1:30 pm – 2:45 pm-- Break out groups: led by student leaders, “scenarios” with guiding questions

2:45 pm – 3:15pm -- Group discussion: each group reports back

3:15 pm – 3:45pm --Beach ball red light/ green light – turn professional language/ behavior on/off

3:45 pm – 4:00pm—Signing of Medical Student Attitudes and Honor Code Document with Dean, Associate Dean of Student Affairs and Assistant Dean of Administrative Student Services

4:00 pm – 4:15pm-- Big Brother/Big Sister meet and greet.

4:15 pm – 4:30pm-- Closing Remarks
