Various on and off campus research opportunities exist, generally organized by the College of Osteopathic Medicine Associate Dean for Research.

Both bench and clinical research are conducted. Some of the best opportunities for conducting clinical research in emergency medicine exist in association with the three NYCOMEC residency training programs in Emergency Medicine.

Research from these three programs is presented annually at various research and educational seminars, and is published in all the major emergency medicine journals as well.
