Community Plunge 'DOCTOR FOR A DAY"

The SGA Morale Committee has been working hard to plan the Community Plunge series of events which will take place at the Glen Cove Boys and Girls Club.  These are events in which we have the opportunity to work with children of our local community in a setting outside of school.  The commitment is small but the impact is great!

The next Community Plunge event entitled 'DOCTOR FOR A DAY!'  will take place THIS Friday, January 14th from 4-5pm.  We will be speaking to the kids about how they can keep themselves healthy, as well as the importance of going to the doctor.  While the event will be educational for them, it will also be interactive and fun!

If you are interested in volunteering at this event, you must attend the mandatory planning meeting on Thursday, January 13th from 12-1pm in Conference Room C of the Serota Building.  Due to space limitations at the Boys and Girls Club, a limited number of volunteers will be able to attend, so be sure to get to get there early!

Please note: If you do not attend the planning meeting, you will not be able to participate in the Community Plunge event itself.  This is a community service opportunity for which you will receive Touch hours.

We look forward to working with all of you!
