AAA Graduate Student Poster Presentation Award Winner

Diana Teplitsky (OMS-II) is the Winner of American Association of Anatomists (AAA) Graduate Student Poster Presentation Award 2011 for her research poster entitled “Neuropeptide Y receptor Y2 is involved in morphogenic modulation of VEGF-induced coronary vessel formation”.
Representing NYCOM at the annual AAA meeting during Experimental Biology 2011 in Washington, DC (April 9th – April 13th), Diana has won a contest for the best scientific poster by a graduate student despite being challenged by the other 10 top finalists (selected by the judges among 48 applicants) from highly-recognized universities and medical schools such as Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, University of California San Francisco, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Case Western Reserve University, University of Virginia, Loma Linda University School of Medicine, University of Saskatchewan and University of Western Ontario School of Medicine.        Diana Teplitsky (OMS-II) is the Winner of American Association of Anatomists (AAA)
As the winner, she has been awarded a $400 prize and a Personal Certificate recognizing her achievement. Diana had conducted her research project under the supervision of Eduard I. Dedkov, M.D., Ph.D. – Assistant Professor of Biomedical Sciences.
