The Department of Anatomy is committed to providing outstanding education in the anatomical sciences to osteopathic medical students. The department strives to ready a new generation of osteopathic physicians for a lifetime of learning and medical practice by integrating sound scientific principles and critical thinking in their training.
The Department further seeks to discover and disseminate information about the structure of vertebrate organisms, both living and extinct, through modern research techniques and the rigorous testing of scientific hypotheses.
The Department aims to maintain a working environment that is conducive to the professional and personal development of all its members.
