The mission of the Accelerated D.O./Family Medicine Residency Continuum is to advance the osteopathic medical profession by increasing the number and quality of students who graduate with a specialty in family medicine and practice in high needs communities.

To accomplish this, the program will:

• Provide students with exposure to, and experience in, “real world” family medicine;
• Limit the time and expense needed to produce quality family physicians.

The curriculum is a lot more family medicine centered, a lot more intensive, as compared with the normal curriculum in which you get a little bit of everything. I still get that broad range of all the different sides of medicine, but there is that strong core of family medicine throughout the three years that I really like.
