Academic Technologies Group provides leadership, hands-on support, innovation and guidance to the NYITCOM community regarding all aspects of current and new emerging technologies. The ATG team provide expertise in a multitude of areas including management and maintenance of Canvas, the campus learning management system, Guru, the campus grade and attendance portal, ExamSoft secure testing solutions, Redcap for management of online surveys and databases, Apple iPad rollout and distribution to the COM community, Kaltura, the campus tube hosting COM lectures and presentations, student/IT support and more. Production support offered by ATG includes website front/backend development, 3D printing and innovation, social media, graphical design and branding, traditional print services, digital photography, video production and editing. The Media Services Group with ATG provide audio/visual support for virtual and in-person classroom lectures, conferences and various COM related events. The media team routinely maintain smart classroom and auditorium spaces housing various video & Zoom conferencing, projection, live streaming and Extron systems within the COM.
