Course schedules are available online on MyNYIT Portal  by accessing the Search for Sections application. You do not have to log in to MyNYIT Portal or NYITConnect to use this application.  

Search for Sections is an up-to-the-minute resource that lists all available classes and the total remaining seats in each course section. Once you access this application, fill out at least three fields, for example:

• Term or Start and End Dates
• Location 
• Academic Level 

Then click Submit. You will see the listing of all courses offered for that particular term.

If you need to build a schedule of classes for specific days of the week or have too many sections to consider, the NYIT Class Scheduler application can help you to arrange a convenient schedule. For example, you need to select course sections that only meet on Mondays and Wednesdays. You will set up your preferences in Class Scheduler and it will generate multiple class schedules. Select a schedule that best suits your needs and register for selected sections at NYITConnect. View a short demo of the Class Scheduler. You need to log in to NYITConnect to use this application. 

Course descriptions are available online and updated each time a new course is added to the catalog.
