The AFP Treasury Learning System™ is a professional development program and a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) exam preparation course. The course is written by experts on corporate cash management and is based on the 2014 Certified Treasury Professional body of knowledge that reflects the current responsibilities of treasury professionals. The CTP designation is the only professional credential in cash management.
This program is offered in partnership with the Association of Financial Professionals (AFP). It is a blended format of printed workbooks and web-based learning software that is based on the complete text of Essentials of Treasury Management, 4th edition – the official body of knowledge tested on the CTP exam. This 4.0 Learning system includes printed books, online software access, a participant guide, and online access to download an ebook version onto an iPad, Nook, or Kindle.

The 2015 AFP Compensation Survey continues to demonstrate the importance of education and professional certification in a financial professionals’ career; they play a critical role in contributing towards career advancement and salary earnings’ potential.
According to the 2015 AFP Compensation Survey many different factors influence a financial professional’s potential for promotion. The report said that most often cited criterion for upward mobility is increased responsibility (cited by 86% of survey respondents). Other factors that impact career advancement include an employees’ contribution to profitability (70%), holding an MBA or other advanced degree (37%) or earning a professional certification such as AFP ‘s Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) (27%). He has over twenty years of financial services experience including a variety of management roles at General Electric and Credit Suisse in corporate Finance, with a special emphasis on cash management and treasury operations. Julius is a graduate of Sacred Heart University and Fairfield's Dolan School of Business with an MBA in Finance.
