PE Leadership Award for Track Completion

Awarded for completing a minimum of 4 seminars in a track over the course of the academic year. (NOTE: PE assistants are not eligible for this award.) Requirements: Submit an application that includes a statement of the impact the track has had on you, and a screenshot of your Career Building Platform (CBP) transcript.

PE Leadership Award for Seminar Planning

Awarded for planning one or more PE activities. Requirements: Submit an application along with a letter from the speaker and faculty advisor verifying your involvement.

PE Leadership Award for Track Planning

Awarded for planning a PE track. Requirements: Submit an application along with a letter from the speaker or speakers and faculty advisor verifying your engagement.

PE Leadership Award for Networking

Awarded for networking with speakers and documenting the result (e.g., LinkedIn connections, informational interviews, internships, and/or subsequent connections made through the speaker). Requirements: Submit an application along with a letter from the speaker or their network verifying your engagement and accomplishment.

PE Leadership Award for Social Media Engagement

Awarded for handling School of Management social media (Twitter, FB, Instagram, Snapchat) for a PE event. If you are interested in earning this award, contact Deborah Y. Cohn at dcohn02@nyit.edu. Requirements: Submit an application and documentation of your engagement including web metrics.

PE Leadership Award for Maximum Engagement

Awarded for exceeding the minimum requirements of 16 PE activities over the course of your studies. (PE assistants are not eligible for this award). Requirements: Submit an application and a screen shot of your Career Building Platform (CBP) transcript.

PE Leadership Award for PE Delivery

Awarded to members of the community that support PE (e.g., adjuncts, alumni, Advisory Board, staff, and New York Tech partners such as career services, and library). Winners will be chosen by the Director of PE to be given recognition for the engagement with PE.

• Application deadline: April 1.
• Awards will be given at a School of Management awards ceremony at the end of the academic year.
