The School of Management Professional Enrichment Program is excited to offer this certificate in Emerging Issues in Social Media.  Students who complete this certificate will gain an understanding of the use of Social Media in a variety of disciplines, including, but not limited to, advertising, marketing, finance, hospitality, law, and entrepreneurship.  Currently, one session is offered in the Fall 2012 semester and 3 additional sessions will be offered in the Spring 2013 semester.

Attend any one of the following social media sessions associated with Advertising Week in NYC. 

Advertising Week is the world’s premier annual gathering of marketing and communications leaders. With more than 200 distinct events, The Week is a hybrid of thought leadership Seminars featuring the industry’s best and brightest and engaging special events which galvanize targeted constituencies. Advertising Week draws from the client, media and broader cultural communities with a laser focus on key business drivers which shape and influence the global industry.  The fee for student participation is $35.00.  NYIT School of Management is offering scholarships to 20 students. Please contact Dr. Deborah Y. Cohn at dcohn02@nyit.edu to register and/or apply for a scholarship. Documentation is required for PE credit. Students can earn up to 2 PE credits for attending Advertising Week.
