Summer Study Abroad Program Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for participation in the Summer Study Abroad Program, interested students must have:

1. Completed forty five (45) credit hours towards their academic degree program, including at least eighteen (18) credit hours of business (BSBA students) or hospitality (BPS students) courses; and
2. A GPA of at least 2.5, unless otherwise stated.
    

Summer Study Abroad Locations

Australia - Summer Semester on the Gold Coast: World-class academics and the surf at your doorstep. During this trimester program, you'll study with a diverse international student body at the top university in Australia - which happens to be smack in the middle of paradise. Costa Rica - Summer in Costa Rica: Take courses in English and Spanish with local professors on an urban campus minutes from the heart of San Jose. Integrate yourself into the Costa Rican culture by living with a house family, while explore the city, nearby national parks, mountain villages, and relaxed beach towns. Czech Republic - Summer in Prague- Study in and explore the amazing city of Prague while taking courses at an AACSB accredited university! On this four week program you'll get to live in one of the top tourist destinations in Europe, experiencing the city in a way most visitors only dream of. France- Summer in Aix en Provence - Enjoy a summer in the Provence region of Southern France. Take courses in English and French, enjoy amazing cuisine, and a have a petit café among the tree-lined streets and fountains.

Italy - Summer in Florence- Don't be fooled by the name! Florence University of the Arts has a wide array of courses from economics to marketing. Peru - Summer in Peru - Spend six or twelve weeks and the satellite campus of Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola in the center of Incan culture as you study a Spanish- language and Peru-focused courses taught in English. Scotland - Summer in Scotland- Imagine a summer of exploring and learning in this historic region with your base in Stirling, the Gateway to the Highlands. South Africa - Summer in South Africa - Stellenbosch University is located in the heart of the Cape Winelands, in the country’s oldest college town. During the four or five week program to South Africa field trips, hands-on community service projects, and expert guest lecturers make this a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Spain - Summer at BIC- English electives and Spanish classes tailored to your level make this a great way to earn credits this summer.
