INTERN ABROAD IN PARIS, FRANCE
On the Intern in Paris program, students participate in either an eight week program, with built in French language courses and excursions, or the independent option, with flexible start and end dates, focusing more on the internship experience.
While CISabroad works closely with NYIT, you will need to apply and pay all program fees directly to CISabroad. While we can assist in the search for your ideal programs, it is important that you are aware of how the experience will fulfill credits back at NYIT.If you have any questions about this process, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
A few highlightsof this program include:
• City of Light or City of Love? - Considered one of the most famous cities in the world, Paris is known for many different reasons. If it’s art you love, you’ll find it. Nightlife? Check. Famous sites? Plenty. A whole summer to try to see and do it all!
• Learn French! – Attend the program in the summer and take a one-week French language class! All participants will have the opportunity to learn the language through interactions with Parisian locals and at their internship placement.
• A custom internship placement – We know you’re not travelling to Paris to pour coffee or sharpen pencils. Luckily, our internships are tailored to fit your interests, hobbies, skills, or career aspirations. We will find you a placement that is right for you!
• Student activities and excursions – If you choose the pre-design program dates, you will have the option of participating in CISabroad social events, excursions, and cultural activities. There will be a welcome dinner when you arrive and a farewell dinner at the end of your program. During the first days of the program, the site director will organize a walking tour of Paris to help introduce you to the city and all the fabulous sites it has to offer. A visit to the Louvre will also be included as a part of your program.
Internships are customized based on your field of interest and resume. The following are fields in which previous interns have been placed:
Health & Humanitarian Services
*Other fields may be available. If you don’t see what you want above, please contact us to see more detail on what internships have been done in Paris in the past
