More on Academic Service-Learning

Recent School of Management Academic Service Learning Experiences include:

International YMCA Practicum Project

The International YMCA offers an opportunity for students to develop a comprehensive marketing plan which would take into consideration the 4 P’s of marketing, current market dispersion and the current global climate. The plan developed by students will be used by the International YMCA to help re-chart the resources deployed to ensure the effective, efficient and appealing marketing of all programs provided.

The Vocational Independence Program is a college program at NYIT for students that have significant learning disabilities, acute autism, and spectrum disorders. The goal is to provide the students with the skills and training to live successful and independent lives.  For this program, students restructured the marketing plan to better promote the program and spread awareness.

Social Networking  for Discover Long Island
