Ms. Cheeks will discuss how to best move forward as a technology leader adapting innovative business practices for new products, processes, and companies.  Her presentation will highlight how technical and non-technical entrepreneurs can benefit from technology inventions and innovations developed in U.S. federal laboratories.  She will share insights of the basic steps for working with NASA to grow business opportunities through technologies transferred from NASA.

Want to see a side of investing you may not have seen before?  Then join the Society for Women in Leadership for Robert Kiyosaki's, author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad, Cash Flow 101 Networking Game Night! This exciting game allows individuals to learn how to get out of the rat race of living paycheck to paycheck and helps uncover hidden tendencies in regards to spending habits and investing. Participants learn the importance of calculated investments, return of investment, and how and when to include real estate in their portfolio.  At this event, we will take time to discuss the game and help apply these lessons to your life. Our goal is to help you recognize and change your limiting behaviors. You’ll learn how to make wise decisions about money and invest in assets instead of liabilities!!
