Students in NYIT’s School of Engineering and Computing Sciences captured first place (winning all matches) in the “Clean Sweep” event of the regional VEX Robotics Competition held on Feb. 20-21 in Baltimore, Md. The students designed, built, and programmed an innovative and autonomous remote-controlled robot that scored the highest number of points in the contest and also took home the best design award.
