All the News That’s Fit to Teach
Fox News anchor Patti Ann Browne (M.A. ’89) returned to NYIT-Old Westbury on April 6 to help students learn all about the TV news business through LI News Tonight, NYIT’s nightly news program that airs on Verizon FiOS1 and Cablevision in the New York metropolitan area.
Patti Ann, who began her news career with LI News Tonight, calls the program “the best experience of my career.” After graduation, she worked at Long Island’s WLIG-TV 55, WSJV-TV in Grand Rapids, Mich., News 12 Long Island, MSNBC, and finally Fox News, where she has served as news anchor for the past 10 years.
