The Alumni Federation and the School of Management honored Brian Silva (M.S. ’89), senior vice president of human resources and administration at Fresenius Medical Care in Waltham, Mass., with the NYIT Alumni Volunteer of the Year award, which recognizes graduates who dedicate themselves to enriching students’ academic experiences by serving as mentors, fundraisers, and guest lecturers, among other key roles. The award was presented at a March 18 reception at de Seversky Center at NYIT-Old Westbury.
