Through the Learning Glass
A Week in the Life of NYIT Students
By Michael Schiavetta
Photography by Jeff Weiner
When students choose a college, they choose
their future. As they decide which school will be the one
to jump-start their careers, they put their faith in that
institution’s academic environment to guide them, teach
them, and inspire them. Students who have made NYIT their
choice take pride in knowing they attend a college whose alumni
have distinguished themselves in their respective professions.
Over the decades, NYIT has remained at the forefront of technology
and education, preparing graduates for the careers of tomorrow.
It is home to a collection of unique personalities, professional
dreams, and diverse aspirations. From Harry Schure Hall to
Lincoln Center to international and online programs, NYIT
students embrace a commitment to excellence that defines the
college’s reputation as a 21st-century global institution.
Here’s a closer look at some of NYIT’s most dynamic
individuals during a week in March 2007.
