Philanthropist George Peabody called education “a debt due from present to future generations.” I agree. Just as our family, friends, and mentors have helped us to become educated professionals, all of us in the NYIT family are blessed with the power—and the responsibility—to shape the young minds of tomorrow.

At NYIT, we have ambitious plans for our students, and our ideas are tied directly to our 2030 strategic plan, which will guide us to help define 21st-century higher education. Key elements include creating interdisciplinary graduate centers, expanding our global programs, revising our core curriculum to meet the demands of today’s society and workforce, enhancing our faculty, and implementing enrollment and student programs that reflect proven, contemporary customer-service models.
