Men’s Lacrosse Heads All-American Selections

Seniors Matt Miller and Joseph Vasold earned First-Team honors on the 2006 STX/United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) All-American teams. In addition, senior Joe Droge garnered Second-Team honors while senior Steven Sorentino earned Honorable Mention.

This marks the first time Miller and Vasold have earned First-Team honors in their careers. Miller, a three-time All-American, earned Honorable Mention as a sophomore and junior. Vasold earned Honorable Mention as a junior.

Droge, who was a First-Team selection in 2005, has earned Second-Team honors twice in his career, while Sorentino’s selection to the Honorable Mention Team is his first nod as an All-American.

In addition to his All-American selection, senior midfielder Matt Miller was named Men’s Lacrosse Co-Scholar-Athlete of the Year by the New York Collegiate Athletic Conference. Miller earned a 3.61 grade point average in addition to his athletic accomplishments.
