NYIT Recognizes Presidential Excellence Honorees
 

Winners of the third annual Presidential Excellence Awards for Faculty and Staff were announced at the convocation ceremony that kicked off the 2006-2007 academic year. Individuals were congratulated by Edward Guiliano, Ph.D., president of NYIT, for their dedication to the college and its students.

Pictured (from left) are: Marcia Singer, associate dean of students for the Old Westbury campus, Office of Student Affairs (Outstanding Achievement in Service); Basilio Monteiro, Ph.D., adjunct professor of communication arts, College of Arts and Sciences (Outstanding Achievement in Adjunct Teaching);  Richard Dibble, Ph.D., director of the Center for Labor and Industrial Relations and professor of labor management, School of Management (Outstanding Achievement in Full-Time Teaching); Luis Navia, Ph.D., chair of the Old Westbury campus Department of Social Sciences and professor of philosophy, College of Arts and Sciences (Outstanding Achievement in Scholarship or Creative Expression); and President Guiliano. Congratulations to all the winners!
