Patricia Galloway, M.B.A. ’84
 
Current Post: CEO of the Nielsen-Wurster Group Inc., an international management consulting firm with offices throughout the United States, Europe and Asia-Pacific.

Claims to Fame: Was the first woman elected to serve as president of the American Society of Civil Engineers in its 152-year history. Worked on some of the world’s largest projects, including the Panama Canal, Tsing Ma Bridge in Hong Kong, and City Link Project in Australia.

Work Philosophy: “I believe my success comes from the three C’s: communication, commitment and confidence. It is these three C’s that I promote in my lectures and training.”

Travel Log: “I have visited nearly 90 countries. My dog, Rings, has been to 42 states and knows more about Marriotts and Westins than any other dog I know.”

Phrase She Likes Least: “Isn’t that a man’s job?”

NYIT Influence: “The M.B.A. program at NYIT is one of the best. It has contributed to my management success, allowing me to rise to the top position of CEO. I regularly apply my NYIT course work and will continue to do so throughout my professional life.”
