Quite a Celebration
More than 6,500 graduates and guests are expected to attend commencement on May 23, 2004. Last year's ceremony-including an address from Sanjay Kumar, chairman and CEO of Computer Associates International Inc.-was broadcast live on the Internet using the latest Web streaming software and hardware. Newsday, Long Island's leading daily newspaper, summarized the event by proclaiming: "NYIT lived up to the technology in its name."
