The NYIT Art & Architecture, Manhattan and Wisser libraries now have Mediascape collaborative workstations
located in select study areas. The Mediascape collaborative workstations allow multiple laptops, tablets, and smart phone devices to be simultaneously connected to larger screen monitors. If you're sharing documents, images, video, or websites, anyone in the group can send their screen easily to the group monitor at the push of a button. To Use Mediascape:
Open the well in center of table and remove a round Puck
Connect the Puck to your laptop's VGA port, similar to connecting to a video projector, if your laptop does not have a VGA port use the appropriate adapter (a selection of common adapters are available at the circulation desk)
Display what’s on your laptop or device by pressing the Puck, on multi-display mediascapes choose the lit number on the puck corresponding to the display you wish to use.
