NYIT’s English Language Institute (ELI) is the best place to learn the language skills you’ll need to be active and confident in the academic, social, and professional settings where English is spoken.

In most cases, academic courses at NYIT are open to students in higher-level ELI classes. Students who complete the intermediate level of ELI receive a certificate of completion and can be considered for admission to an academic program without a TOEFL or IELTS score.
