NYCOM/Long Beach Hospital Simulation 2011

This simulation is a collaboration between NYIT's College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYCOM) and Long Beach Medical Center. It is a hybrid simulation where an actor was used and then transitioned to the METI – I, Stan. The goal of this exercise was to practice inter-professional teamwork between the Long Beach Patrol, Long Beach EMS and the Emergency Department of Long Beach Hospital and to assess their medical management of a near-drowning victim.
