Second Year Medical Student, Jacob Miquel, is discussing his summer research project in the Anatomy department. His project is "Sensory Innervation Involved in the Echolocation System of the Harbor Porpoise". Also explaining the process is Associate Professor in the Department of Anatomy, Jonathan Geisler, Ph.D. Dr. Geisler, along with Assistant Professor, Brian Beatty, Ph.D. are mentors for Jacob's research. He is building on a previous students research, Gary Volkell, OMS III. Jacob will present his findings at a symposium at the end of the summer in the Riland Auditorium.
