The purpose of Hospital Day, geared to second year students, is to introduce them to the opportunities available for clerkships and ultimately, internships and residencies at affiliated hospitals.
It has been a tradition to invite representatives from affiliated hospitals to discuss the educational opportunities available to the Osteopathic Medicine students.
Speaking directly with hospital representatives gives students the opportunity to learn about clerkships from those currently involved at the various sites.
