Leslie Goldstein, Profile, College of Osteopathic Medicine
I am Assistant Professor of Pharmacology. My goal is to excite the medical students’ interest in how drugs work and how they can be used to mechanistically treat diseases. I lecture in every system of the first-year curriculum and two systems in the second year, as well as in our MedPrep summer enrichment program. I facilitate second-year groups in NYIT/NYCOM’s problem-based, doctor-patient continuum curriculum. I also conduct Board reviews. I am committed to participating and contributing in NYIT/NYCOM’s faculty development programs. I serve as president-elect of NYCOM’s Academic Senate and I am a member of the Task Force on Curriculum, the Facilities Committee, and NYIT’s Institutional Review Board. I have been honored to participate as a judge in NYCOMEC’s Annual Poster Contest and as an evaluator of NYCOM’s D.O. of the Year.
