Coat Drive The Office of Housing and Residential Life at NYIT-Manhattan is collecting new and gently used coats through Monday, Dec. 31 as part of the 24th Annual New York Cares Coat Drive. Drop off a coat in the bin in the lobby of the Edward Guiliano Global Center at 1855 Broadway or bring it to the resident assistant offices at the Riverside or Manhattan School of Music Residence Halls.

Blackout Concert NYIT's S.W.A.G. club presents an evening of rap music, dance, a fashion show, and more on Friday, Dec. 14, 6:30 p.m. at the NYIT Auditorium on Broadway, 1871 Broadway between 61st and 62nd Streets, Manhattan campus. Cost is $3 for NYIT students; $5 for their guests.

WOW! Events NYIT's Office of Career Services presents informative sessions featuring 6th graders from New York City who were mentored by NYIT students. Events are scheduled for 4:30-5:30 p.m. at 16 W. 61 St., 11th floor auditorium, Manhattan campus. They include:

Student Lobby Day Join NYIT students and staff members on a trip to Albany, N.Y., to meet with elected officials and discuss funding for college financial aid programs on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. A bus will depart from NYIT-Manhattan.
