SHE-E-O: A Woman's Guide to Life After College Mark your calendar for a panel presentation and networking opportunities on Thursday, March 6, 6-8 p.m. at NYIT Auditorium on Broadway. The event is inspired by Sheryl Sandberg's best-selling book and movement Lean In. Learn from successful women in human resources, law, marketing/branding, sustainability and higher education, who will share their insights on negotiating your next salary, telling your story, and how to build strong networking relationships. Get the inside scoop on Hollywood filmmaking and the latest technologies used for special effects in the Avengers, Battleship, and more on Tuesday, March 11, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at 16 W. 61st St., 11th floor auditorium, NYIT-Manhattan. NYIT Gallery 61 Exhibition: "Trajectories" Attend a discussion and walk-through for students with artists Cora Jane Glasser and Greg Lamarche on Wednesday, March 12, 1:30-2:30 p.m. at NYIT Gallery 61, 16 W. 61st, 11th floor, NYIT-Manhattan. Discussion will be moderated by Ann Aptaker, adjunct professor of fine arts. Glasser and Lamarche are artists featured in the exhibition, "Trajectories," which runs through Wednesday, March 26.

Citation Workshops Stressing over citations? NYIT librarians will show you how to use RefWorks to manage and cite your sources from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. in Wisser Library, room L16, on the following dates in Old Westbury (unless otherwise noted):

Professional Engineering Conference NYIT will host the Long Island American Society of Safety Engineers' Professional Development Conference on Wednesday, March 19, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. at NYIT de Seversky Mansion, Old Westbury campus. This year's theme is "The Legal Aspects of Safety." Speakers include trial attorneys, OSHA supervisors, NYCDEP regulators, and safety industry leaders. St. Baldrick's Cancer Fundraisers Join NYIT medical students and St. Baldrick's Foundation for two events to raise money for childhood cancer on Sunday, March 23 at The Downtown Café, 4 School St., Glen Cove, N.Y., and Thursday, March 27, 6-10 p.m. at 26 W. 61st St., NYIT-Manhattan. You can help by shaving your head, volunteering at the event, or making a donation.

Let's Talk About Sex Have questions? You'll get answers and learn about sexually transmitted diseases using a game called "Wheel of Sex Ed." on Thursday, March 27, 12:30-1:50 p.m. in Anna Rubin Hall, room 311. Event is co-hosted by Sigma Iota Alpha and NYIT Office of Counseling and Wellness.
